Here is a breadbox I made for my grandmother years ago, back in 1988 I believe. I went a little beyond the basic quarter curve style that most breadboxes have by adding the extra s-curves in my design. As well, I added a top storage compartment for mail or other miscellaneous items. Made from white pine with a "natural" oil and sprayed on lacquer finish. Not much more to say about this project; pretty basic construction techniques applied here. Even so, it is still being used daily today; only now, I have it in my kitchen for storing nacho chips and muffins... yummy!
