This humidor was built from my own personal design and specifications. The main box is constructed with hand-cut dovetails out of canalete (a type of South American bocote). I decided to turn one-inch diameter posts out of Guatemalan rosewood for the corner posts to mimic the beauty of the cigars within. However, as a result of this design element, I had to search for a hinge that would accommodate the new offset of the rear of the box and found these unique barrel hinges. The interior is layered in one-quarter inch thick Spanish cedar to help preserve the aromas and flavours of the cigars as in all finely crafted humidors. The drawer below, layered in a rich burgundy velour, houses a variety of cigar cutters, matches and lighters.
